ALPR vote: On July 15, 2025, the Pleasanton City Council considered the Flock Safety agreement for expansion of the City's automated license plate reader program as part of its Consent Calendar. The Council approved the Consent Calendar with Ayes from Councilmembers Eicher, Gaidos, Nibert and Testa and Mayor Balch; Noes: None; Absent: None. The agreement runs five years and is not to exceed $639,760. That figure is a contract ceiling, not a record of actual spending.
